Bebe had a great moment and great program. As did Emily. Rachael Flatt has made a lot of progress - still skates a little"young", but not by much. There seems to be a lot of talk about her combo jump as well as Kimmie's. I called Rachael's a triple - double and Kimmie's a triple-triple with a downgrade to the second triple. I have been told Rachael did a triple triple - so I must have mis-counted rotation - she does rotate very quickly - so she must hve tricked me!! I would like to also mention Taylor Firth. I enjoyed watching her practices so much. She expresses the music and does her choreograpy with such conviction - she is very enjoyable for me to watch. All the El Segundo crowd are pleased for Bebe and Becky (who fought back from a stomach bug to be able to get through her very enjoyable program with great energy and that wonderful smile). And, of course, very disappointed for Danielle, who really has come so far this year, and put in so much hard work to develop her skating for the unfortunate pop on her flip. Grrrrrr.
