I had to take someone out to a remote practice rink during the short programs here. I will report on the free and take photos then. Sorry!!

I did take photos and we will get them up ASAP. This was a very enjoyable event actually. More variety in themes than the Sr. Pairs and a lot of great skating. Some rough moments - but not a real scare fest.A very encouraging event.

Kate Boxwell & Danny Curzon
Secret Garden - He looks a little thin armed for her, but they get the lifts done. one was pretty scrapey thought. Nice spiral. Slow. Side by Side spins off at the end. She had trouble on the footwork.
Noelle Chiavetta & Chad Brennan
Prince of Egypt - He is very muscular and she is very waifish.he held onto her a long time on the catch of the twist. lot of distance between them on side by side axels. pair spin was just ok. Throw was very telegraphed. he fll on side by side lutzes and she popped.
Kaela Pflumm & Christopher Pottenger - Photos
Samson & Delilah - He is a little rough in his turns on the lifts.
Lisa Moore & Justin Gaumond
Chaplin - Nice twist. Smooth lifts - he turns well. pair spin just eh. one arm lift with one arm set down. Fun music.
Lilly Pixley & John Salway
Hidalgo - Fast. Side by side spins off. Very strong program, but end was anti-climatic.
Bridget Namiotka & John Coughlin - Photos
Prince of Egypt - They used the "Miracle" song rather than the other more agressive part of Price of Egypt (which was a relief given the number of Princes of Egypt there were). I loved this program so much I made no notes at all. It was very lovely.

Phantom of the Opera - The phantom is indeeed here inside my mind, It won't get out. I may need to sing Small World to myself to clear him out. I beg of all of you. Please. I don't care how much you love the movie. Do Not Skate To This Any More. Before it becomes even more of a joke than Zorro or Malaguena. Let it be. Leave it alone.Step away from the Phantom.Now. Put down that CD. You - I am talking to you!!!! She fell on throw. I didn't make notes on the rest.
Lindsey Seitz & R.J. Westfall
Phantom of the Opera - He's short, but strong looking. Lift went up on a really quiet part of the music and there was no scrapey scratchy. Side by side spins off at end. She stepped out of side by side lutzes. Screechy violin version of phantom.
Kendra Moyle & Andy Seitz - Photos
Jealousy Tango/Nu Tango - Strong throws and side by side jumps. Nice and expressive.
Bianca Butler & Joseph Jacobsen
Warsaw Concerto - He fell on axels and she fell on throw. They were next to the last to skate and I could just not keep interested.
Rhea Sy & Cole Davis - Photos
Harry Potter - His one armed illusion look was a little cutting edge. Dance lift down scrapey. She had rough landing of both throws.
Claire Davis & Nathan Miller - Photos
Prince of Egypt - And I guess we need a cease fire on this music as well. Go back to Lawrence of Arabia for a bit! She fell once on some transition step and then stumbeled again.
Meeran Trombley & Nathaniel Hess
Moonlight Sonata - Stumble in opening moves. Body catch on twist. She fall on side by side jumps and throw. Nice change edge spiral. although it was eventually Moonlight Sonata, the beginning was latin music. She fell to the ice form the 2nd lift. and the next lift did not get up at all.
Arielle Trujillo & Grant Marron
Star Wars Medley -2 twist without hands. Shakey lift. Nice death spiral and pair spin.
Julia Vlassov & Drew Meekins - Photos
Paycheck - She fell on throw. Side by Side spin off a bit and the ending was off.
